little girl's birthday decor

I was invited to a little girl's birthday party this past weekend and I was able to capture a bit of the decor and food. The place was filled with pretty colors everywhere and you could smell the sweetness in the air. Everything looked and was very yummy! :)

I wanted to do something creative with oranges for the Shutter Divas group on flickr, but the three bags of oranges I bought were gone in less than 2 days!! So I went to the grocery store, took my camera with me and started snapping pictures. This is one of them. Although I don't eat asparagus, I thought the arrangement was pretty neat!!  =)

finally done with my Christmas decor!

I've been pretty busy getting everything ready before Christmas & I've been working like an elf trying to get my home decorated as well. I didn't do anything last year, so I decided to do something special for my family and me this holiday season. Always remembering the true meaning of Christmas which is love, joy, hope and the promise of salvation.
